Inventive Site Design understand that not everyone has a full understanding of the latest web terminology and technology. To better help you understand some of the items addressed by our design procedures, ISD had created a FAQ to answer some of these questions.

Services:
Q: What is the usual turn around time on a web design project?
A: Turn around is something that varies from project to project. There are many variables that must be factored into each project to best project the completion schedule. Things that must be considered include: use of templates or custom design work, size of site, number of pages, complexity of design, readiness of site content, client interaction, database support, programming, and functionality required. With this said, ISD likes to allow a minimum of 1 week for its smallest projects. Please keep in mind, that larger projects can take upwards of 6 months for the most intense sites. Average turn around is 3-4 weeks on smaller sites.
Q: How do I request a proposal for design services?
A: You may request a proposal bid for services by contacting us directly either through postal mail or email. You may fill out and submit the proposal request form on our website or the Inventive Site Strategies, Inc. website. You may also simply submit a quote request here.
Technical:
Q: What is CSS and what does it mean to me?
A: CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets.
Q: What is the big deal with "web standards?"
A: Web standards are guidelines and standards that are setup by the World Wide Web Consortium.
Account Questions:
Q: Is there a deposit required for design work? How much?
A: Yes, we require a deposit for all design work. In general, the payment schedule is a 25% non-refundable deposit up front, 25% upon your approval of your site's design/layout (does not include your content), and the remaining 50% is due upon completion of your site.
Products & Package Questions:
Q: Does the package price include maintenance? If so, how much?
A: Our package prices do include a limited amount of maintenance. In general, these maintenance events are limited to 1 major update and 2 minor updates.
